I was born in the wrong decade

I think I was like 13 when I realized I was born in the wrong decade. 

Yes, I realize there’s no such thing as being born at the “wrong” time, but there’s really no other way to say it because I think I’d make more sense in the 70’s or 80’s. In an ideal world, I would have been born in like 1972 so that I could have been a kid in the 70’s, a teenager in the 80’s, and in my early 20’s through the 90’s.

Instead, I was born in 1992, and I didn’t even have boobs by the time the decade ended. Saaaaad. There’s just something about those couple of decades that really fascinate me. The fashion, the culture, the dgaf vibe. I’m all about it.

I find myself adding subtle flairs of the past into my wardrobe quite often.
