Oh, 2017. How I’ve longed to get to know you…

New year, new me. That’s the saying, right? I can’t promise that I’m going to have a major lifestyle transformation this year, but it’s really motivating & inspiring to set some goals, so I did just that with GlossyBox.

This is the January GlossyBox, & these are my #GLOSSYgoals. My top 3 goals-

SAY YES: I want to make memories this year so that means saying yes to taking chances & embarking on new adventures, even if I am afraid of just about everything. #YOLO

BE THANKFUL: I live a hectic life. Between mothering my 1 year old son, keeping up with my busy filming schedule, & trying to make time to have even the teeniest, tiniest sliver of a social life, I get extremely overwhelmed. But even though it’s hectic & I want to scream sometimes, I also love my life. My son is the cutest, funniest dude ever, being on camera is my dream literally come true, and I have a wonderful support system of friends and family that are there for me every step of the way. I need to set a serious goal of being thankful, because the truth is, I am.

SPREAD LOVE: I reach a lot of people, which I am so grateful for, and I want to spread even more love & kindness every chance I get. If I can make one person smile everyday, this year will be awesome.

But enough about me- let’s take a look at the goods.

I self diagnosed myself with chronic dark circles under my eyes. I don’t actually know if it’s a real thing, but it feels pretty real to me. My skin under and around my eyes has been purple for as long as I can remember. It took me forever to find a concealer that makes me feel like I don’t look like it’s 2 weeks past my bedtime, so I’m always excited to try out a new under eye treatment. Every box ever should include under eye creams at least once, because whether you have a severe problem (like I have convinced myself that I have) or not, you will suffer from puffy, dark under eyes at least a few times in your life, so I was beyond excited that the January GLOSSYBOX has one from oOution. So far, I’m in love, & I haven’t gone a single day without using it. Plus their packaging literally tells me to “break rules” so they obviously understand me.

The box also includes Daily Concepts’ Exfoliating Body Scrubber, Restoring Marine Night Therapy from The Seaweed Bath Co., Universal Beauty’s Secret Flush, which is a duo cream blush & lip stain, & an exfoliating face mask from La Theorie des Volcans. I can’t pronounce it, but it’s amazing. ALL OF THAT IN THIS BOX. I know we just past the holidays, but feels like Christmas all over again.

My skin is happy.
